The Fort Steilacoom Invite features a wide variety of races, and coaches may put their athletes into the race that is most beneficial for their athlete or team. There are two important things to remember when entering your team. In most cases, the girls race will start 10 minutes after the boys. That allows us to keep the meet finishing at a reasonable time, and the ability to have variety of races of races so athletes can run in the race that is most beneficial for them. Additionally, we ask that coaches only enter one varsity team in fairness to all other teams. If you have one or two outstanding athletes, you may place up to two in on varsity race and then run a complete team in a lower division. Please do not enter enter any athlete who is likely to run over 30 minutes in any race outside of the final two JV races (with the possible exception of the Girls Bronze division race) except in the two designated races. These are the Girls JV race at 11:20 and the boys JV race at then end of the meet.
